# X.	Parameters : GNSS setup

To reach this page, slide up from any flight screen to make menus appear, then click « Parameters menu » button, then click the « GPS setup » button.&#x20;

Enabling GNSS is mandatory for track recording and displaying a lot of items (like the Route, the drift, GPS altitude, etc…). Your current GPS position is displayed in the status area on the bottom of the page.&#x20;

Advanced settings let you know the signal strength of each satellite. The gray bars show the signals received by the Evolution but not used for the calculation. The black bars show a signal used to locate you.&#x20;

Choose the GNSS you want to use with the Evolution. At most 3 can be activated simultaneously: **GPS**: Navstar (USA), **GAL**: Galileo (European), **BEI**: Beidou (Chinese), **QZS**: Quasi-Zenith Satellite (Japanese), **GLO**: Glonass (Russian).                                                                                                                                           The satellite-based augmentation ([SBAS](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNSS_augmentation)) of the Evolution GNSS chip is active by default.
