# IV.   Position the instrument in flight

1. Syride suggests placing your Evolution on a cockpit.

   Two adhesive Velcro strips to be placed on the flat part of the instrument's rear shell are provided. **Avoid covering the reboot hole with the Velcro.**![](/files/f0779f2cdc8fb925a13cb369019e745590fefe2f)
2. The size of the instrument also allows it to be placed on a ventral reserve parachute.
3. If you wish, you can secure the Evolution using the wrist strap provided for this purpose.
