# X.	Settings: SMS alert

To access this page, swipe up from the bottom on a flight screen to reveal the menus, then tap the "Settings" icon and then the "SMS Alert" (SOS) icon. \

Access to the SMS Alert menu is available only if:&#x20;

* You are connected and online with your instrument (via Bluetooth).
* &#x20;You have configured the messages and recipients on the " [My Account](https://www.syride.com/fr/moncompte) " page:&#x20;

The "Google Map" link sends a link that opens a map with your last position.\

⚠️ **Important note:**  you receive a free credit of 10 SMS over a rolling 30 days (viewable on the " [My account](https://www.syride.com/fr/moncompte) " page).&#x20;

The SMS will be sent (if the connection is available) as soon as the Send button is pressed. Remember to add buttons by [configuring your screens](http://www.syride.com/fr/ssctool/Evolution) on your flight pages to avoid having to go into the menus during flight:
