XII. Settings: advanced

To access this page, swipe up from the bottom on a flight screen to reveal the menus then tap the “Settings” icon and then the “Advanced settings” icon.

  • The first icon allows you to change the instrument's language.

  • The second allows you to force a time zone ("Auto" by default).

  • The 3rd allows you to completely reset the instrument.

⚠️ Important note: The reset erases all data from your instrument (flights, configurations, settings...) to return it to a factory default configuration! About the complete instrument reset:

The first step after startup is to calibrate the touch screen. You must press successively and precisely at the center of each cross to move to the next step.

See a touch screen reset videoarrow-up-right.

Next comes the magnetometer calibration (to determine the instrument's position relative to the Earth's magnetic field). You must slowly rotate the instrument through all possible positions (360° horizontally and vertically for at least 2 minutes), then click anywhere on the screen to validate.

See a magnetometer calibration videoarrow-up-right.
