XII. Settings: advanced
To access this page, swipe up from the bottom on a flight screen to reveal the menus then tap the “Settings” icon and then the “Advanced settings” icon.
The first icon allows you to change the instrument's language.
The second allows you to force a time zone ("Auto" by default).
The 3rd allows you to completely reset the instrument.
⚠️ Important note: The reset erases all data from your instrument (flights, configurations, settings...) to return it to a factory default configuration! About the complete instrument reset:
The first step after startup is to calibrate the touch screen. You must press successively and precisely at the center of each cross to move to the next step.
See a touch screen reset video.
Next comes the magnetometer calibration (to determine the instrument's position relative to the Earth's magnetic field). You must slowly rotate the instrument through all possible positions (360° horizontally and vertically for at least 2 minutes), then click anywhere on the screen to validate.
