# XVIII. Configure advanced options (software)

By connecting your Evo to a computer with the Syride Link communication software or via the Syride app (Android and Apple), you will access a menu of advanced options that allows you, for example:

* to change the trigger threshold of the audible alarm linked to the g-meter
* to change the "Pre-violation" alerts for airspaces (HZA horizontal distance and VZA vertical distance)…
* to configure the header settings of IGC files
* ...

To access it:

1\) Turn on and connect your Evo to the computer's USB port.

2\) In the Link software click on the icon ***"Instrument settings"**.*\
![](/files/4f6a946ce8db6ea6c39612c38826c781d6d41ae1)

3\) Change the options you want; the change is saved instantly to the instrument.\
\
The procedure is identical in the Syride app on your phone.
