# XX. Real-time pilot tracking ("Buddies" function)

Your Evo V2 can display in real time the other pilots connected live on syride.com.

Prerequisite:

* The Evo V2 must be **connected via Bluetooth to the Syride app**.
* On a map of your instrument, go to **Settings** and enable the option **Display live pilots** by setting the “Live” icon to **ON**.

**If you want to choose which pilots to follow** :&#x20;

By default, you follow **all live pilots**. However, you can choose to follow only a custom group:

1. In the app, open the **instrument page**.

2. Click the **Edit** button after the text "follow all public lives".<br>

3. Choose between:
   * **Follow all public lives** (default option)
   * **Follow a group**

If you choose a custom group:

* Create or identify a group on [this page](https://www.syride.com/fr/groupes-pilotes-live) :

* Note the**group ID** (e.g.: 17) and the **private key** if the group is protected:

* Enter this information in the app.

⚠️ **Important note:**

* Only the **30 closest pilots** to you are displayed on the map.
* Private live pilots are not visible on your instrument (even in the case of a private group).
* You can view your groups on the [My account](https://www.syride.com/fr/moncompte) page of syride.com (members and managed groups).
