# User manual

**ON & OFF**

Press middle button for 2 seconds to turn ON and OFF the instrument.

Press left and right button at the same time to enter or leave the setup mode.

**Climbing threshold**

Select the desired menu with left or right button, then press middle button to change the value:

0 bip = OFF              3 bips = 90ft/min

1 bip = 30ft/min         4 bips = 120ft/min

2 bips = 60ft/min       5 bips = 150ft/min

&#x20;      6 bips = thermal sniffer + 30ft/min

&#x20;           *Default = 30 ft/min*

**Sinking threshold**

0 bip = OFF              3 bips = -300ft/min

1 bip = -100ft/min      4 bips = -400ft/min

2 bips = -200ft/min    5 bips = -500ft/min

Default = -300ft/min

**Volume**

0 bip = OFF

1 bip = minimum volume

2 bips = intermediate volume &#x20;

3 bips = maximum volume

Default = maximum

**Change the battery and reset**&#x20;

Reset = remove battery for 30 sec.
