# XIV.	Warning and reset

The **battery is <3%**. The Nav XL must be recharged. If you are in flight the instrument will record your track and turn off automatically.

To **force restart the instrument**, insert a paperclip into the hole provided for this purpose at the back of the case. This action does not erase memory or your settings. It only forces the instrument to restart.

A **factory restore** is possible from the SYS'PC TOOL (menu parameters / troubleshooting / Factory restore). The instrument will be completely reset to new. All of your flights and settings will be erased.
